COVENT GARDEN TREASURE HUNT -CLUES

A COVENT GARDEN TREASURE HUNT

We offer a self managed treasure hunt through the streets of Covent Garden. We provide you with packs of cryptic clues, observations and rules. We also provide you with the answers in a sealed envelope. You are responsible for briefing the teams and marking the observation clues at the end. The Covent Garden Treasure Hunt finishes outside the Coal Hole pub on Strand. You can contact them to arrange an area and a meal or buffet.

Our Covent Garden Treasure Hunt begins at Embankment Underground Station. It then sets of into the streets, alleyways and passageways of what is without doubt a truly fascinating part of London.

The cryptic clues which you are given will lead you into some delightful and hidden away places. You will gaze upon on old Watergate now stranded on dry land. You will need to decipher an intriguing piece of code to arrive at the solution to your first treasure hunt clue.

Then it's off on a merry jaunt through this vibrant and buzzing area. The clues that you must uncover will be located on blue plaques, hidden away in doorways, emblazoned on statues and other street furnishings. Only by working out the meaning of each cryptic clue and figuring what it is that the clue is telling you to do will you find your way through the fascinating places around Covent Garden.

But, as with all our treasure hunts, puzzling over the clues isn't the be all and end all of this tantalising quest. You will also be given a sheet of observation questions which pertain to things you will see as you make your way around the route. Some of them are directly on the route, but others might be hidden away down alleyways or inside the historic buildings that you pass. Just as well that you will find one of the clues in a building connected with the great detective Sherlock Holmes, for you will need his powers of observation if you are to find the answers to every question in order that your team might emerge victorious at the end of the Covent Garden Treasure Hunt.

However, please don't worry because although the clues and observations take a little thinking about and a little using of those little grey cells, each one is most certainly solvable and you should be able to complete your journey through the streets of Covent Garden in around 2 - 2 /12 hours.

So if you are looking for a suitable team building exercise in the Covent Garden area then why not give one of these tried and trusted treasure hunts. You will find it a fun and informative experience as you pit your wits against the opposing teams and hopefully earn more points than them to make yours the winning team!

The Cost of the Covent Garden Treasure Hunt is £140.00 for a self managed treasure hunt. The self managed treasure hunt is one in which you act as your own event manager. We supply the clues, observation questions and answers. But you arrange your day, brief the teams and mark the observation questions at the end of the quest.

If you would like us to provide and event manager we can do so at an additional cost of £375.00 plus VAT. For this the event manager takes over the briefing of the teams, marks the observation questions and announces the winning team.
