This London walk takes you on a fascinating journey that follows in the footsteps of Charles Dickens through the colourful and fascinating streets of Soho. Numerous places will be brought to vivid life as we look at the streets, buildings and courtyards through the eyes of several of Dickens most famous characters.

Your London walk around Soho sets off into the bustling back streets of this colourful quarter of London. We tell a little of Charles Dickens and A Tale of Two Cities, seeing several houses that could have been the inspiration for Dr Manettes house.

We tell the story of Dr John Snow and his battle against the cholera epidemics of the 19th century and enter Golden Square to hear the strange history of its resident statue. We then move on to the house where John William Polidori lived and died.

The final section of our London walk in soho takes you over Shaftsbury Avenue and into the colourfuland vibrant district of China Town. From there we eneter the district of Seven Dials, once one of London's most crime ridden neighbourhoods but one which, none the less, fascinated Charles Dickens.
