Mark Ubsdell

Mark Ubsdell presents the ultimate true crime DVD

Unmasking Jack the Ripper.

This truly atmospheric drama/documentary has been produced by leading film maker and co-founder of the Picture Production Company Mark Ubsdell.

Step by blood curdling step viewers will find themselves spirited back to that long ago era of gaslight and terror as they join the Victorian police as they hunt Jack the Ripper through the crumbling streets of the Victorian metropolis.

Featuring interviews with leading Jack the Ripper expert Paul Begg and top Jack the Ripper researcher Lindsay Siviter this evocative film will have you truly convinced that you have been transported back in time.

But it is the production quality of this true crime drama/documentary that really makes for a truly amazing and realistic televisual experience.

This is largely due to the talents of Mark Ubsdell, who has recently completed a feature film, ‘Deadwood’ with Python Producer John Goldstone starring Jack Davenport, Dexter Fletcher, David Soul and Angus Deayton. Mark has been producing for TV and Video for the last 13 years and has completed a catalogue of some 30 programmes all of which have sold internationally. Prior to that he was a founding member of Picture Production Company - the world's largest film promotion house outside of Los Angeles.

The film was was written by and is presented by author Richard Jones (author of Haunted Britain and Ireland; Walking Dickensian London, and Myths And Legends of Britain and Ireland). He has featured on several of the more recent Jack the Ripper documentaries, including an appearance on the DVD of the Johnny Depp film From Hell and is currently working on his new book Jack the Ripper's London, to be published by New Holland in 2006.

So why not purchase a unique guide to that long ago era of gaslight and horor, when a lone figure stalking the night hours truly did send waves of terror and panic coursing through the streets of Victorian London.
